Early Interventionist
I grew up in Westminster, South Carolina. I attended Benedict College in Columbia, SC where I received a BA degree in Elementary Education. As a little girl, I always knew I had a passion for working with children and disabilities. I worked for over 10 years in Oconee County School in Special Education. I wanted to do more with my talent of helping and serving children with disabilities. In 2004, I got a job with the ACDSNB working in a residential facility serving adults with disabilities. Later, I became and Early Interventionist. As an Early Interventionist, I now have an opportunity to share my passion and talent by serving children with disabilities and helping parents/guardians to understand that every child has the ABILITY…. To be the best that they can be.
