With a helping hand, we strive to improve the quality of life for people with special needs.

The Anderson Special Needs Foundation was established in November 2017 for the purpose of providing additional financial support and enhancement to services offered to more than 1100 people served by the Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.   The Foundation may provide financial assistance to families in crisis upon exhaustion of all other funding options.  This financial assistance may include: assistance with housing, utility bills and food.    The Foundation may also provide financial assistance to supplement existing services and programs operated by the Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Board in circumstances where funding may have been reduced.   The Anderson Special Needs Foundation is a nonprofit organization and is funded through multiple fundraising efforts, donations from individuals, churches and community groups.    The Anderson Special Needs Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization.
