Early Intervention

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
-Benjamin Franklin

While living in Massachusetts, I was fortunate to enter the field of education by volunteering with children of all abilities in my children’s schools. Realizing my passion was guiding and engaging young children to achieve developmental milestones, I enrolled in Mount Wachusett Community College and acquired and associate degree in early childhood education. During my time in college, I worked as a lead preschool teacher in a learning center. I decided to continue my education and graduated with a BA in psychology from Becker College’s accelerated studies program. Upon my arrival, here in South Carolina in August of 2016, I became employed at the ACDSNB working with the adult population. In September of 2017, I transferred to the Early Intervention department where my heart and passion is, working with children of all abilities.
